I gotta say, this has been a good year for me. Maybe not a good year hanfic-wise, but a good year nonetheless. And as it comes to an end, I wanted to post a little something to update you guys on how the year went. It hasn’t been my most productive year, nor has it changed much since my last update, so this should be brief. Still, it’s below the jump to save space and scrolling.

Since I’m done with Camp NaNoWriMo now, I figured it was time to update you guys again on how things are going with my fic. So here we go:

Bled Dry — No real progress to report here. At least, nothing that can be shared yet. We have finished outlining it, though, and worked on the layout and LJ comm for it. Not sure when we will have anything written to share, since it’s third on the priority list of collabs with Amber. But we’ll get to it, eventually.

I Will Try To Fix You — We should have a chapter of this to share very soon, once we get it edited. This one is quickly moving up our priority list.

In the Dark — I’m starting to panic about this one, because I’ve realized I am running out of the chapters I had written during NaNo last year. I may need to make this my July NaNo project to get more of it written, but I have a feeling I will need new chapters to share even before then.

Kiss and Tell — My April Camp NaNo project. I set my goal at 30k and I reached it late last night! I have 14 chapters now, and I’m going to set them aside for a bit before I start editing them. Hoping to share them in a month or so.

Naked Magic — I have absolutely, totally dropped the ball on this one. Collabs with Amber have taken priority over it, but now that NaNo is over, I hope I can work on this again and we can finally share the first chapter(s).

Songs Left Unsung — No progress on this one, I’m afraid. I do feel a little bit better about it than the note on my last chapter implied, but I’m still nervous about getting the ending right. I really hope to have this finished in the next month or two.

Truth is a Whisper — We’ve almost written a dozen chapters on part 3, and I’m pretty amazed that we’ve made it so far so fast. Once we do have a dozen, we’ll have reached a natural stopping point… at which point we’re going to shift our focus to Fix You. We will come back to Truth, though. It’s just a temporary break.

And that’s it for now! Keep checking back for new chapters of all the above, because I never post here about individual story updates. I will, however, post here when some of those coming soon stories finally make their debut.
