It’s OVER.
This year was rough. If it weren’t for sick days, snow days and holidays, I don’t think I would have gotten through it with the full 50k. The fact that I split that 50k up between two of my WIPs definitely helped, though. Here’s how it all worked out…
In the Dark is finished. I repeat, In the Dark is finished. I’ve already posted one of the new chapters, but I still have eighteen chapters and an epilogue to edit and post. It’ll be a while before this one is published in full, but I’m glad to be that close to having it totally done.
Since that didn’t quite take 50k, I also added four new chapters to Kiss and Tell. Right now, I have something like ten more chapters written than posted, so it will be a while before I have to worry about writing more of this one. That’s okay, though.
And that’s basically it for me for the year (aside from hopefully working on some of my collabs). The only other project I have on my plate is a little Christmas gift for you guys. And you get to pick what it is! Head over to my LJ to vote on a poll to help me determine which of my fics to write an outtake from for Christmas.
