Well, it’s taken me two and a half years, but I have finally finished Love and Other Socially Acceptable Emotions. It’s definitely bittersweet to see it end, but at the same time, there’s a certain sense of satisfaction that comes from finishing a story that you’ve been working on for ages.
So, what now?
Well, I do have a vague plan for a prequel that will delve into Taylor’s history a little bit more, but I don’t plan to start it soon. I’m also working steadily on Audience of One, Songs Left Unsung and Truth is a Whisper. I hope to make major progress on all three of those during the next few months.
As you might notice on the sidebar there, I’m also working on a little collab with one of my dear friends, Lacy. And in August, I plan to start on the original fic I’m planning for Camp NaNoWriMo. Which means, sadly, I’ll need to go on a bit of a hiatus from hanfic. It won’t be long; just a month or so, depending on how much I get written during August and how much editing it needs. I want to publish this story eventually, so it has to take precedence over what I write just for fun.
But I’m not leaving hanfic! I still have plenty of stories to tell, and hopefully you guys will be around to read them.
