Summary

Victoria is good at acting. Victoria isn’t good at making friends, relationships or being true to herself. At college, she makes several friends, including the confusing and frustrating Zac Hanson, who will help her figure out how to finally be herself.

This story is absolutely, without a doubt fiction. I’m just a fan and a writer. I don’t know the band and I’m not making any money off of this. Obviously this is an AU story and is not meant to imply anything at all about the boys and their real lives.

I’ve been updating this very steadily for the last few months, but not updating the little blog here. I hope that hasn’t confused any of you guys.

However, all good things must end. The last chapter and epilogue have just been posted. I hope everyone who has followed this story for the past two and a half years has enjoyed it. I’d love to hear what you guys think about it, now that it’s all said and done. And I’d be curious to know if anyone is interested in a prequel from Taylor’s point of view. It’s just a tiny little idea, but it’s been gnawing on my brain for a few days. Let me know what you think.

I’ve been adding chapters quite steadily over the past month, but I keep forgetting to make a new post to let anyone just visiting the site know. We’re now up to chapter 26, so things are moving along pretty quickly. I’m really glad for all the positive comments I’ve gotten from my readers lately. That’s what keeps me going when I’m not sure about how the story is turning out.

On a related note, I signed this story up for the Renees’ Hanmix Challenge. I received a lovely mix from Renee P, which I’ve posted on the soundtrack page. Hope you guys enjoy that; it provides a different perspective on the story. So, do enjoy that as well!

So, since I decided to submit this story for the Renees’ Hanmix Exchange, I figured it was time to add a few more chapters. Give whoever gets the story a little more to work with, you know? That said, I’ve posted THREE new chapters tonight. Yep, you read that right. Three. Hope you guys enjoy it. There’s plenty more to come soon.

It feels really good to work on this story again! This is the first entirely new chapter I’ve written for it in a long time. After this, I have several more original ones to edit. But I wanted to get another bit of newness posted for you guys before I disappear into NaNoWrimo again. So Chapter Sixteen is up and I hope you enjoy it 🙂

Like the title says, I’ve updated the layout here. It’s very similar to the old one, but with a few changes. I hope this version is easier to read, but it’s also easier for me to update, since it’s in WordPress. And you know what that means? More new chapters, coming very soon! 🙂
