That’s right, this fic is done. It has taken just about two years, but I am finally finished and I really hope you have all enjoyed it. The story has taken some twists and turns that probably surprised a few of you, but hopefully that and the long wait hasn’t driven you all away.

In fact, it has been a little over two months since my last update. I don’t have much of an excuse for that; I’ve been busy with work and other stories, basically. But chapter forty is finally posted, and we’re one more chapter closer to the end of the story. I hope to finish it this month, and I plan to start posting it to AO3 soon if you’d like to read/comment there instead.

I know, I know. This story is taking me forever to finish. I hope you all enjoy this chapter, and beware that even though the story is almost finished, I still have a few surprises left.

Two months with no update? Yikes! So sorry to have kept you guys waiting for so long. This may not be a particularly interesting one, but we are nearing the end of the story. Time to start tying up all those loose ends…

Just posted the newest chapter, and we’re getting closer and closer to the end. I don’t want to put a final chapter count on it yet, but I can say this fic should be done in just a few weeks. In the meantime, enjoy chapter thirty five! 🙂

Over three months, actually. Wow. I really didn’t mean to go that long between updates. But I’m back! This story is actually almost over, and I hope I still have a few readers hanging in there, waiting for said ending.

Today, I’ve posted chapter thirty four along with a “lost chapter” that I wrote for Elizabeth for Christmas. It can be found on the extras page, but please note the warning.

This one took a while to get just right, and while I’m not sure that I ever did, I do hope you all enjoy it. It’s a big one, and one that I know some readers have been waiting for. And that’s all I’m gonna say. Just read it, and don’t let me know if you hate it! 😛
