Part nine

May 30th, 2013

I usually tell you guys to enjoy these chapters, but I’m not sure this is one I could really call enjoyable. Either way, I hope you guys do read it and that you let me know what you think. The story’s about to become a serious emotional rollercoaster, possibly in ways you didn’t expect. So… hang on.

Part eight

May 16th, 2013

Here it is… kind of the turning point of the whole story, and I guess I was anxious to post it. Usually I wait until the afternoons, not the early early mornings. But you guys don’t mind, do you?

I would absolutely love to know what you think of this chapter. And I also want to say a big thanks to T for signing the guestbook.

Part seven

May 2nd, 2013

And here we enter a new phase of the story… It’s going to get a little crazy here, and I’m very curious to see what you guys have to think about the sudden changes in Taylor and Adelaide’s lives. Sign the guestbook or send an email and let me know 🙂

Part six

April 18th, 2013

Well, here’s the next part. I’m not sure what you guys are expecting from it, but I have a feeling there might be a few surprises in store. I’ll be very curious to see what you all think about this part… and the next few parts, where the story takes a possibly unexpected turn. So let me know what you think! Leave a comment in the guestbook, email me, tweet me, whatever! You feedback about this story means so, so much to me.

Part Five

April 4th, 2013

I’m in the midst of Camp NaNoWriMo now, but I really wanted to keep the updates of this story coming for you guys. The next few chapters are the real meat of the story, the parts that I will no doubt struggle to write, but at the same time, I’m looking forward to them.

As always, a big thanks to everyone who has commented — in particular, Lexi and Liz. Thanks to anyone else who is reading, enjoying and commenting.

Part four

March 21st, 2013

There are parts of this story that are really hard for me to write, and we’re getting close to those. But I’m really happy with the way it’s turning out so far, and the response I’ve had to it. I want to say a huge thanks to Lexi in particular for her email after the last chapter. I’m really glad that my story and Adelaide’s story are touching people. So if you’re reading and enjoying this story, I would really, really love to hear from you.

Part three…

March 7th, 2013

Well, here it is. This is where the story veers off into a very serious direction. If you’ve read the warnings, you’ll probably know what to expect. If not, umm… I’m sorry? I hope, if you’re reading, you’ll stick with it after this part.

As always, I would love to hear from any of you who are reading 🙂

Part two!

February 21st, 2013

Here it is, folks. Part two is posted. It’s a little bit longer than part one, and possibly not what you’re expecting. But that’s going to keep happening with this story — unexpected things, I mean.

I really hope that anyone who is reading this enjoys it, and I would love to hear from any of you. A big, big thanks to Diamond for her comments on part one!

Here goes nothing.

February 7th, 2013

I’ve sat on this story for nearly two years, trying to get it just right. I’m not saying that it’s perfect now, but it’s finally gotten to a point where I’m actually content with it. I won’t say happy, because it’s not the sort of story that really inspires happiness. That’s not really making anyone want to read it, is it? Well, I hope at least a few of you aren’t totally turned off and you give it a chance.

And if you do, I would love to hear from you.

Summary

Warning: Please note that this story does contain some heavy topics, including alcohol and drug use, sexual content, and discussion of illness and death.

Adelaide was reluctant to get involved with Taylor. She knew it was dangerous and would change her life, forever, but she didn’t know how. Although she tried to resist him, he became the one constant in her life, even when his life was anything but constant.
