About the Story

Renee P and I had joked about doing a Clue-style hanfic over Twitter; her wonderful Hanfic Plots gave me the idea. I didn’t really seriously consider writing it until the Hanfic Genre Challenge rolled around, though.

In the end, it doesn’t have that much in common with Clue. It’s set in a mansion and the characters have names based on the traditional Clue characters, but that’s about where it ends. I’ve also worked in a few references to some of my other fandoms, just for fun.

Because it was written for the challenge, I was more focused on getting the proper amount of chapters than actually knowing for sure where the plot was going, so it is currently on hold while I figure everything out.

The song “Vicarious” by Tool ended up playing a weird role in the story.
