I hope no one is disappointed by how short this chapter is. It’s one of those in between scenes that sort of needs to be there, even if nothing all that interesting happens. Oh well. Getting closer and closer to the end, though. Hope you guys are still enjoying the ride!

Hope you guys survived that little cliffhanger last night. Okay, it wasn’t really little. Either way, I hope you guys are ready for today’s chapter.

That’s probably the best way to sum up the chapter I posted today. So umm… yeah. I hope you guys enjoy it. There are only around eleven chapters left, if the story follows my outline. I’m starting to work on my plan for the sequel, too, so stay tuned for that.

Sorry for the bit of a wait for this one. I hope to have the next ones posted much sooner. I spent the last week plotting out the rest of the story, and there truly isn’t much left. Which means things are building up toward something very, very big. Hang onto your seats, folks! 😉

Are you guys enjoying these weekly updates? Sometimes it’s tough to keep it going. It seems like as soon as I finish one chapter and take a moment to breathe, I need to start on the next. But there’s truly not much of the story left… unless I write the sequel that’s been brewing in my mind for a few days. A sequel? Oh boy. I’m still undecided, but I’m definitely considering it.

This story, and the last few chapters in particular, has given me so much trouble! It’s not necessarily writers block, although I do seem to have a bit of that, too. But I’m not going to stop. I’m going to do my best to keep on writing and keep the chapters coming for you guys. There isn’t that much of this story left — around ten to fifteen chapters — so hopefully the rest of it will be a little quicker and easier.

Well, at least for this week I’ve managed to stick to my one chapter a week thing. It’s been harder than I expected, though, especially when I have other things I’m supposed to be working on. But hopefully I can keep it up. And hopefully you guys enjoy the chapters.

So I couldn’t stop myself from writing this story, even after running out of my NaNoWriMo stories. Chapter twenty four is here now, and I already have some more writing done, too. I hope to keep these coming at a rate of one a week, if I can. We’ll see.
