About the Story

I began this story for Amber’s challenge, Stories Will Be Told. The idea was that everyone who signed up would receive prompts based on common themes in old school hanfic. I didn’t actually write hanfic back in 1997, but I was still familiar with all the cliches. These were the prompts I received:

• Hanson on tour
• manwhore/player Taylor
• Ike is left in charge

I think you can see how I incorporated all of those into something pretty different from what people wrote back in the day. It was a surprisingly easy challenge for me.
